• From Asheville-Hickory
Travel I-40 East to Statesville, NC. Take exit 150 (NC Hwy 115) North Center Street south 1 block to Magnolia Glen Community on the right. Turn right on Gregory Road and take immediate left into Magnolia Glen. The community is bordered by a decorative brick wall and signature entranceway.

• From Charlotte:

I-77 and I-40 intersect in

Statesville Regional Airport:

The Statesville Municipal Airport is currently undergoing an expansion plan that is targeted to be completed in alignment with the Lowes Headquarter move to Mooresville, NC. The expansion will include:

• an increase of 2000' to the current runway equalling 7000' total
• this will increase the size of aircraft availability to include all Corporate Jet fleet models
• extended north parallel taxiway and new full-length south parallel taxiway enabling safer runway access and increase in the number of takeoffs and landings that can be accommodated
• upgraded and improved "All Weather" landing instrumentation
• expanded hanger and aircraft ramp areas to accommodate increasing numbers of visiting and home based aircraft for corporate and personal use
• improved terminal area parking including a newly landscaped entrance from Airport Road featuring expanded parking and building facilities.

Ultimately, this expansion to the Statesville Municipal Airport will create a new "Gateway to the City of Statesville" and many other surrounding communities.

 
Other Air Transportation:

Two commercial airports within an hour's drive serve Statesville: Piedmont Triad International Airport located in Greensboro and Charlotte-Douglas International Airport.
